All Foundation doctors in England use the Horus e-portfolio.
The e-portfolio provides Foundation doctors with a simple way to collate their assessments; document meetings with their supervisors; record their personal development plan; and demonstrate that they have met the required curriculum outcomes. However, the e-portfolio can also be used to showcase work that has been done over and above the baseline requirements.
The Portfolio provides the structure and paperwork (forms, templates etc) to help individuals understand the process of their training and plan their development. It also includes the formal assessments that must be completed together with guidance about other evidence that might be submitted to demonstrate competence.
Trainees and Educational Supervisors can access the e-Portfolio at https://horus.hee.nhs.uk/login
Completion Certificates
You completion certificates will be released on Horus within the ARCP Tab. Please download a copy and retain this for future use. We will not send a copy of your certificate to you. You are also able to download your full portfolio and guidance can be found on the horus website.
Your Horus portfolio will remain on the site for 6 years after you have completed foundation. After this time it will be removed so it is important to download items you require for future roles and applications.

1. Rational Drug Choice
2. Utilising the BNF
3. Prescription Documentation
4. Fluids
5. Taking a Safe and Effective Drug History
6. Adverse Drug Reactions
7. Dosing and Calculation
